Privacy Policy

Updated 21 October 2026

Bien Health B.V. respects the privacy of the visitors and customers of bien-microdose.com. This policy explains, as transparently as possible, which personal data we process, why, with whom we share them, how long we keep them and how you can exercise your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who is responsible for your data

The controller of the personal data processed via this website is:

  • Bien Health B.V. (“BIEN”, “we”, “us”)
  • Address: Keizersgracht 391A, 1016 EJ Amsterdam, the Netherlands
  • Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number: 87795205
  • VAT number: NL864408997B01
  • E-mail: info@bien.health

This policy applies to the website https://bien-microdose.com and to the services offered on it.

2. What data we collect and why

Orders. When you place an order, we process your name, delivery and billing address, e-mail address, telephone number if you provide it, the content and amount of your order, and the payment status and transaction reference. We need these data to perform the contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and to meet our accounting and tax obligations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR). We never receive or store your full card details.

Age confirmation. Our products are reserved for adults. When you enter the website, you declare that you are 18 or over; this choice is stored in your browser and is not linked to your identity. When you order, you tick a mandatory box confirming your age: this confirmation is recorded with a timestamp and kept with your order. We process it to comply with our legal obligations and to be able to demonstrate that we only sell to adults (Article 6(1)(c) and (f) GDPR).

Contact messages. When you write to us via the contact form or by e-mail, we process your name, e-mail address and the content of your message in order to answer you (Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). Please do not send us information about your health: it is not needed to answer your questions.

Newsletter. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your e-mail address, your language, the date and proof of your subscription and, where applicable, whether you open our e-mails and click on their links. We do this only with your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link in each e-mail or by writing to info@bien.health.

Website statistics. Only if you accept analytics cookies, we collect data about your visit (pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location, identifiers set by Google Analytics) to understand how the website is used and improve it (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Technical data. When you visit the website, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the date and time of your request. These data are necessary to deliver the website and to protect it against abuse (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Where data are mandatory to place an order or use a feature, this is indicated when we request them. We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects concerning you.

3. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data and our partners do not use them for their own commercial purposes. We only share data with the service providers we need to run the website, each bound by a data processing agreement or acting under their own legal obligations:

  • Vercel: website hosting. Our application runs in the EU region (Frankfurt, Germany).
  • Supabase: database in which orders, age confirmations and contact messages are stored, hosted in an EU region.
  • PayPlug: French payment service provider that processes your payment. PayPlug also processes certain data under its own responsibility, in particular to meet its legal obligations as a payment institution.
  • Klaviyo: sending of our newsletter, only if you have subscribed.
  • Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.): website statistics, only after you have accepted analytics cookies.
  • Carriers: the shipping company that delivers your parcel receives your name, delivery address and, where needed, contact details.

We may also disclose personal data to competent authorities when we are legally required to do so, on the basis of an explicit and reasoned request.

4. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Some of our service providers (in particular Vercel, Klaviyo and Google) belong to groups based in the United States. Where personal data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards: certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. You can request more information about these safeguards at info@bien.health.

5. How long we keep your data

  • Orders (including the timestamped age confirmation): 7 years from the end of the financial year, in accordance with the Dutch statutory retention obligation for accounting and tax records.
  • Contact messages: 3 years after our last exchange.
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. After that, we only keep what is needed to respect your choice and prove your earlier consent.
  • Website statistics: for the retention period set in Google Analytics, no longer than 14 months.
  • Technical logs: for a short period, as needed for security and the proper functioning of the website.

Once these periods have expired, the data are deleted or anonymised.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use:

  • Strictly necessary cookies and storage: they remember your age declaration, your shopping cart, your language and your cookie choices. They do not require your consent.
  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics): they are only placed after you have given your consent via the cookie banner.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies without your consent. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings on the website, and you can delete cookies through your browser settings. More information is available on the website of the Dutch Data Protection Authority: https://autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • access your personal data;
  • have inaccurate data rectified;
  • have your data erased;
  • restrict processing;
  • object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and to direct marketing at any time;
  • receive your data in a structured, commonly used format (data portability);
  • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

To exercise these rights, write to info@bien.health. We respond within one month. Depending on the complexity and number of requests, this period may be extended by two further months; we will inform you if so. If we have reasonable doubts about your identity, we may ask you for additional information to confirm it. Some data may have to be kept despite a request for erasure, for example to meet our accounting obligations.

8. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss and unlawful processing, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to data and the choice of service providers offering adequate guarantees.

9. Minors

Our website and products are intended exclusively for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe that a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us so that we can delete them.

10. Complaints

If you believe that we are not processing your personal data correctly, please contact us first at info@bien.health. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, https://autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl) or with the supervisory authority of the EU country in which you live.

11. Changes to this policy

We may amend this privacy policy, for example when our services or the law change. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of its last update. In case of significant changes, we will inform you appropriately.

12. Contact
